Zen Commuter

Jul 31, 2018

I have been reluctant to record a series discussing the topic of death.  However, the more I meditated on it, the more I realized I was buying into all the discomfort that talks of death bring.  I have experienced the death of loved ones, both those who endured illness, and those who passed away suddenly.  In my own life I faced a moment that I believed to be my last.  And of course, my meditations have allowed me a unique reference point for understanding the end of our human life.  Today, I start off talking about the reasons we are reluctant to talk about death in our culture.
