Zen Commuter

Dec 17, 2018

The Buddha felt that enlightenment could only be achieved when compassion for life was recognized. True transcendence would only be achieved when we accepted the suffering of others as our own, and then took steps to alleviate it. Today and all this week, I am focusing on compassion, not just from a Buddhist perspective, but from a variety of perspectives.
